I met onglai and c-gang at techview's bustop. Honestly, after graduating from Bedok North, i never really went to that side of my estate again. The most i had was passing by when i take 15 to TP. Walking there was really foreign. It seemed like the 4 years in Bedok North didn't even existed in memories. Walking from school to techview to eat Fried Beehoon or Japan Auntie's Japanese food or eating Chocolate Ice Cream prata... No wonder i grew fat in Bedok North. All those good food are no longer at techview. The road home has also changed. 2 years only, so much have changed..
We met at 3pm and we walked into Page One's warehouse behind Techview.
We queued under the hot sun and long line. Finally inside, i was flipping through many design books. But i guess the really good ones are already cleared out. After finally choosing the 5 books that i wanted to buy, i suddenly had blood drain again.
It has been so long since i had that.
I quickly bend down but i should have went out the first time it happened. Sorry for getting cgang and onglai worried. And haha thanks for fanning me with the "smelly" books.
Huan helped me to carry the book and paid with Nika and i quickly went outside to sit down. My vision was fading to black and everyone face was hexed-like, my ear couldn't hear anything, every noise suddenly sounded like muffed. Very scary right?
Sat by the curb.
Was it heat stroke? Was it blood pressure decrease? Was it blood sugar level dropped? Was it vertigo? What was it, i don't even know... Maybe i should check out with doctor soon hor?
Walked all of them to 7-11 and then to kopitiam's busstop and sent them off onto CT18 to ChinaTown.
New Year's Eve, I am happy spending that 2 hour plus with you guys and sorry for not counting down with you all but 2011 is ending and i want to spend it with myself.

11am reached school, saw TP's wide screen and the 3 other more in design school. Urgh, the radiation level is gonna be high man.
My consultation lasted less than 5 minutes for my 2-3 days worth of hard work. There was me, ivan and keith. So we spent the next half an hour talking about design school, to design work to all the way talking about design experiences. I realised that some teacher are better welfare type than being actual lecturers. For that half an hour, i've decided and further confirmed what i want to pursue in my life in the case of design. It made me more determined after hearing real-life experiences of the industries and stuff. But it made me more determined that WorldSkill, sure it does heighten up my portfolio and resume if i ever gotten into Finals but even i didn't, it was a good exposure considering how little practice we were given in TDS.
Had lunch with Ivan and waited until 2 plus for the TPDPA opening ceremony filming. Ivan guest star too! HAHA. Then CH came and he managed to get 2 year 1 DPA to help out. Thank you guys for helping even though you both are rushing somewhere else! :)

Yea ahaha they hacked my photobooth! The filming went pretty well but now i am abit worried of the post-production, which is the editing part. I hope i do well.
5pm plus we quickly rushed down to Suki-ya at TM to meet the rest of Tehpeng.
Didn't even know TM had that, like a sua ku. The clubbers came later and they went up to eat at BaliThai while the rest of us went outside to the open plaza to seat and wait first.
They came and we took a group photo.
How long since we last met...? How long since we last took a group photo?
It is going to be 3 years since i've met you all, the first group of friends i made in TP. Everyone has grown and are pursuing their own dream and i do hope soon it going to be the last year in TP, hope everyone do well and continue to remember that tehpeng is there and the memories we had during our DPA time.
Now i am about to prepare to welcome the 5th batch of DPA juniors. Time flies hor?

I have been watching this since evening!
Plot: Yang Kang Chil just came out from prison after 16 years. He was jailed because of a murder he never did. After released from prison, he goes to Seoul accompanied by his guardian angel, Lee Gook Soo. Meanwhile, Han Ji Min will play Jung Ji Na, a cheerful veterinarian who loves Kang Chil.
I honestly do not know who acted for this drama. I only recognised KimBum from the Boys Over Flower but i wasn't a huge fan anyway. BUT OMG. In this drama, he and the lead actor who is acting Kang Chil is so good!
I love the realistic portrayal of KangChil and his mother's love-hate relationship. It is so believable!
For now right, i can't be bothered to say "OMG THIS IS A MUST WATCH! THE BEST MAN" Lol, even my ma and bro said i say that exact sentence for whatever drama i watch.
There was a scene in episode 5, part 5, it was deep man. I love plot that makes the characters so deep. LURVE IT LOVE IT!!

Guess what?! I don't have worldskill training tomorrow. I tried to do the 2006 day 1 and 3 paper but it turned me off so badly. Sometimes i don't know to say yeah for my up-to-my-mood attitude or say nah for something repulsive as to doing a logo for a mock up gym company called Club InstinX. Oh gawd.
Anyway i shall patiently wait for episode 7 and 8's sub for Padam Padam and i hope the repulsion of the grossness of paper 1 and 3 wears off by tmr morning so i can work on them to go for open consultation on friday.

All the bad emotions is partially caused by my impending menses that i am suffering right now. Salompas heal the world, HAIL SALOMPAS!
But the main reason i was so upset, i decided to fuck it and move on. Nothing is absolute and so are friendship. I am not gonna horde over something perishable. But it was also my own fault for expecting too much and too confidently believing in it in the first place. HAH.

Fiend 2: I spent my entire today finishing 2 papers - 2006 Pt 1 & 2008 (design TYS) for the Worldskill competition training.
Really like the first one! Shall edit it well and upload to portfolio ^^
Urgh don't even ask me why the main colour for both paper i chose Green. I just kinda got the GREEN vibe feel today so green it was!
Spent 4 hours for the first the second was about 3-4hours. Good thing i am within the 7 hours limit. IKR, this competition has a time limit too. Training for that. HURGAZ.
Okay this shouldn't be considered "fiend" but the thought of *ahem* just made this thing collectively feels fiend-ish. }:x
Fiend 3: Doing my work half way, a small chicak (lizard) crawled across my table. I know i am fearless but at home i just wanna act like a xiaomeimei and be scared. That thing looked at me you know?? Wah lao. But i decided to harden my poor soul and chase it to the wall and now it is gone. I just hope it wouldn't crawl into my bed or something. AHHHHHHH :(
For some reason, my mac has the right temperature to bred very tiny flies. I know it sound gross, trust me i am grossed out too. Maybe that's why the small lizard is trying to eat the tiny flies. YES EAT THEM. I am so sick of squashing on average, 3 tiny flies every night.
Is it because i open my window until 3am that the only light illuminating from my block is from my room? And i am charging my lousy mac battery 24/7, is this why my mac is turning into a meeting place for the flies gang? Hmm :(
Therefore...
I decided to clean up my room tomorrow. But i ought to do the remaining 3 paper by my Worldskill training on thursday and friday right? Meh.
What a good time to say "SO MUCH THINGS TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME!"

Just in case you didn't know.
I dled Sims 3 Pets and the first animal i created was a dog and a human. And the dog was my dream dog, Old English Sheepdog. But for some reason, it looked really fugly in Sims. So i deleted and created a horse and a human.
Here is my champion foal.
I bought another horse called Brownie. As a training jockey, i had to raise fund by buying/selling horses, so that is why brownie is with me. But the thing is... she spent so much time with me, i grew attachment and i don't wanna sell her anymore.
But my real horse is Zefan. He is on the screen with my sims. Chio right?
He is already considered a god horse and so is my god like Sims so i am already getting bored. I even tried having lifts in my Sims house.
Okay i have to go back to doing work but for now, goodnight.

LOL.
No hype, no feel at all. The best thing was prolly waking up to Om Mani Pad Me Hun Chant in the afternoon since today is 初一 of the month. HEHEHH. Even my cousin who came up to fetch us to ahma house said my family has a different "culture" as compared to other families in singapore. :O
We had a family gathering at Ah Ma house! It was pretty simple lunch fare with food cooked by 2nd Uncle and Aunty and we already exchanged gifts at 3pm. I got a cute massager that has light function too! LOL so now i can actually massage my aching shoulder and calf muscles in the dark HAHAHAHA. Sounds abit weird.
I took a nap at 1pm and 7pm. In between, i went down to find AhGong with Moon, Bro and YiMa! Oh yeah i went to cut my hair too! Got a scolding since you are not supposed to cut hair on the 初一... But considering how i really didn't know i don't think it will work right... the superstition... Hm?
Anywayyyy ah ma is the coldest place i've ever been in Singapore with just plain wind from mother nature. I swear it was colder than Genting or my camp bunk with 4 air-con blasting at 20 deg celsius.

p/s: I find all those people who wish Merry Christmas on the 24th of December really dumb! You made me confused you know? But for some reason hor, i think 24 looked nicer for Christmas than 25. IMHO

I was watching AFA (American's funniest video) while munching my biscuit during yesterday's tea break and it was showing the "Worst Christmas Gift ever received" segment. I was feeling so appalled but those videos okay.
Seriously what is wrong with those kids? Or just, what is wrong with all the youth these days?
So sad to see the degrading of the entire generation of youth in such clear views.
No longer are the days where kids still upload those filial piety acts to their elders especially their parents. No longer are the days where youth treat friendship with utmost loyalty to the point it is possible to 赴汤蹈火,在所不惜.
So superficials youth these days. Chasing money, chasing fame, chasing something so surface. You know what? When you die, you are not even gonna bring any of those shits you spend half your life chasing with you down.
Don't you feel sad or just wanna sigh all day long while looking at youth wasting their life away?

Monday 19/12/2011:
Me, junheng, enmian only went down to join our empire at around 1pm plus. It was bunking time and yep, first time i saw my empire.
We had a quick ice breaking before station games followed by TP Wide station game. At night, we finally had dinner and bubble tea bought for us through the rain from our FAs :') and we continued to do the Retreat planning for DOTC Refresh.
At night it was "Finding our real FA" game. It was mimicking night walk and not bad lah. Although sometimes i can't really see the clues or whatever in the dark.
Froze to death in my bunk and my hair were all frostbite. I didn't even know that all 4 air-cons were on and on full blast of 20deg cel. O BLESS MY SOUL.
Tuesday 20/12/2011:
Woke up and washed up and the time the girls went down, the boys from Pyga were already making breakfast for us! Awwww~~
Followed by Morning PT! I was pulled out by Ivan even before i could start doing nay head rotation.
Pulled out for creative work!
So basically everyone were mass dancing, morning PT, design dance, school dance this and that, me and ivan were running about trying to get the material to trace the drawing for the TP Wide event painting. Prog Head, Jian En came to bring us the huge cloth for us to cut into 6 equal parts.
The reason why i was pulled instead of the other 2 year 1s creative subcomm was since we both (me and ivan) experienced DOTC1 before, it makes more sense to get the 2 year 1s to experience right?
Anyway, we heard about the Big Clash were happening at 10.30am so leaving us with 15 minutes, we traced the tp wide stuff FAST AND FURIOUS. "Like a zai kia" - Ivan.
TADA ALL 6 of them done!
I went back to join Pyga who were cheering and thankfully, was the last empire to go for the Big Clash game! :D

TP Wide Event started soon enough after lunch and we went around TP trying to collect materials for the final painting of our flag.
Finally at 5.30pm, we started painting and it was a time lapse video thingy. All the empire gathered there to do our stuff. Then something actually happened.... My empire didn't receive the right instruction from the main comms and was the only empire that painting inversely.
Me and Ivan was running about trying to find replacement item to redo Pyga's portion and until we finally found all the materials, we looked down from level 5 and this was what we saw...

HELL YEAH OMG! I can't even express how proud i was to see Pyga spend 5 minutes to repaint the still-wet inverted flag correctly. HOMG! :") I took this picture and showed them when i was back to our meeting place and i am so glad they were no longer feeling so disappointed but happy! :}
At night after dinner, we had the retreat presentation! Pyga was the only empire with story line! SWAG SNAKE OR WHUT!? ^^
Honestly, i am very amazed at how enthu this bunch of year 1s were! Since the bulk of Pyga were Year 1s, they really made it Pyga worked! Slept at 2am and woke up at 8.30am. Shiok.
Wednesday 21/12/2011:
On my way to wahs up, the final piece of the diadem were on the ground of level 1.
We had mass dance and all the dance plus hand sign song all those till afternoon when the entire Camp Aten sat together in the LT, eating our lunch while watching Aaron Tan's video LOL.
MASS GAME TIME!!
It was the same mass game we had last year and they really took all our suggestions from last year and improved this year!
The mat was still bad cause i came out with tons of abrasion and scratches on my knees~ But hellyeah mass game is fun to the MAX!

Pyga debriefed until 7.30pm. This time, we didn't managed to write first impression and little notes from everyone since we had a curfew by the main comms! Damn sad okay! :( I kept Kwa'Me's card from DOTC 1 2010 and i still take it out and read it some time. Now i don't have any physical memory from DOTC 1 2011 :(((((
But anyway! PYGA!
Really a interesting mix of empire! Can't wait to see some more event rolling on!

Basically i packed my camp bag four hrs before camp but i went to sch early for submission.
Im in Pyga! Yayyyyyy~ My empire is pretty awesome and for some reason, everyone in this camp seems to warm up VERY FAST!

Hi, i am utterly exhausted. :(
Submission is tomorrow for corporate identity and as of 11pm Sunday, i finally finished it. Without stopping, right till now 2am, i have been doing the DOC empire logo. Anyway here's the journey so far. I'm not making any sense haiyer.
Friday printing at Peace Centre with Ivan. HOLY SHIT my poster is friggin chio on Conqueror Laid paper. But printing on my own paper for A2 cost me $14. Hur :(
We printed, ate at the shop beside Rocher's Famous Beancurd. Then we shopped at Art Friend before we rushed home to continue on our booklet.
Saturday, did it as fast as i could because i wanted to print and be back home from HGM by 7.30pm. (HEHEH MY SHOW WAS HAVING THE LAST EPISODE)
The print was AWESOME~~ Plus the person there is nice, like make friend with the printer le. ^^

This morning, i woke up at 4am after sleeping at only 2am and by 6am, i was walking along Ion Orchard towards Takashimaya Civic Plaza.
Honestly, i would be a night taxi driver than a day one. I would be a night tourist than a day one. The wind was so breezy and chilly and the streets were empty and it was just peace and quiet as compared to the day HOMG.

The moment i woke up, i ate again LOL and finished my booklet and started product photography.

I don't know if i can show yet but the whole group will see it tomorrow anyway. It is not finalised by so far so good. Yep this is the empire logo i think. I got not much too-much-info-clues either.
Honestly, i really would love to write whatever happened each day in detail but i am feeling so flustered and tired right now.
Tomorrow the moment i wake up, i will have to pack my bag for camp - DOTC1 and then go to school early to print my product photography while carrying my camp bag and my A2 board and A3 files and if possible, pop by TPDPA's meeting.
Hi holiday i love you and i need you so badly. SO SO BADLY.
I want holiday.
